Rams to play two FBS teams this fall
Bronx, N.Y. – The 2021 Fordham University football schedule was officially released today and it includes not one, but two games against FBS opponents, including the Rams' first ever game with the University of Nebraska.
The Rams open the 2021 season with the trip to Nebraska and, two weeks later, travel to Florida to face Florida Atlantic University. It will be the tenth time over the past eleven years that Fordham will face an NCAA FCS school (a 2020 game at Hawaii was canceled due to COVID), with the Rams winning two of the games, a 30-29 triumph at Temple in 2013, and a 37-35 victory at Army West Point in 2015.
Fordham also has non-conference games listed with Monmouth University, Stony Brook University, and Wagner College.
After going 2-1 in the spring against Patriot League opponents, Fordham will play a full six-game league schedule in the fall, with home games against and Bucknell, Holy Cross, and Lehigh.

- The first four meetings between the Rams and Bison were payed at the Polo Grounds with Fordham winning three of the four.

- The Rams lead the all-time series, which started in 1889, 40-23-3.
- Fordham has taken seven of the past eight meetings, including a 30-27 win in Washington, D.C. in 2019, as Fotis Kokosioulis hauled in a 17-yard touchdown pass from Tim DeMorat with 16 seconds left.
- Fordham is 15-3 against Georgetown since the Hoyas joined the Patriot League in 2001.
- The Rams are 19-7-1 against Georgetown on Jack Coffey Field.

- The Fordham win snapped a three-game Colgate winning streak in the all-time series.
