Lehigh will open its 138th season with back-to-back games against teams from the Colonial Athletic Association. The Mountain Hawks will open the season at home for the sixth consecutive season as they welcome the Villanova Wildcats to Goodman Stadium on Saturday, September 4. This will be the fourth time Lehigh will face Villanova in its opener with the previous openers against the Wildcats coming in 1919, 2007 and 2017.
On September 11 Lehigh will travel to Richmond for just its second-ever meeting with the Spiders. The first meeting was the Mountain Hawks' thrilling 24-23 victory at Richmond in the first round of the 1998 playoffs.
Following a two-season hiatus, Ivy League opponents are back on the Mountain Hawks' schedule. Lehigh will play its first of three Ivy foes on September 18 when the Mountain Hawks welcome Princeton to Goodman Stadium.
Patriot League play begins the final weekend of September with Lehigh traveling to Hamilton, N.Y. to face Colgate on September 25.
Lehigh will close out its non-league schedule against Ivy League foes in the first two weekends of October. The Mountain Hawks will host Yale on October 2 and will travel to Penn on October 9.
Following an October 16 bye week, Lehigh's final five games will be against Patriot League opponents. The Mountain Hawks will visit Fordham (October 23) and Bucknell (November 6) and will play home contests against Holy Cross (October 30) and Georgetown (November 13).
The regular season concludes with the 157th edition of college football's most-played rivalry as Lehigh hosts Lafayette on November 20. The Mountain Hawks will be looking to snap a two-game rivalry losing streak after collecting four consecutive wins against the Leopards from 2015-2018.
The Mountain Hawks return five of their six All-Patriot League selections from the spring season.
