Five old Notre Dame Football photos for a Friday — Commander Tommy Rees - One Foot Down
Happy Friday everyone! I have access to thousands and thousands of Notre Dame Fighting Irish photos, and will never use a small fraction of those on this site. The thing is though — I want to, and I’m going to give it a solid shot as a way to bless the beginning of the weekend throughout the offseason.
I suddenly ran into about a billion things this morning because of dad life — and had to fight my way back into the office to lay this out. Do you know who doesn’t have to fight a bunch of family members throwing loads of laundry, practice runs, lunch demands, etc. in the house just to get in the office for a few minutes?
Tommy Rees ya’ll.
Tommy said he has absolutely nothing taking away his time from making Notre Dame a better football program — and I’m sure his girlfriend is cool with that. So here’s a tribute to Tommy for the hell of it.
Oh HEY buddy
Tommy Rees went full coach mode after he helped lead the Irish to a bowl game victory against the Miami Hurricanes.

The October Revolution of 2010
Or whatever. Commander Tommy Rees rose out from the Red Army to eventually be Notre Dame’s starting quarterback as a freshman.

The man with the plan

Triple shot of green
Tommy wore 13 — which basically meant he was but 1 man that wore 3 gorgeous green uniforms.

Champion
Tommy Rees left Notre Dame as a Pinstripe Bowl Champion. Some might say that he body was already well adapted to Yankee Stadium thanks to his 2010 campaign against the United States military — and yes — that’s all very true.
