Position & Size: Kicker, 6-3, 185 Pounds

Class: Freshman (RS)

Prediction: Competition to start at kicker

Thoughts: The last name should sound familiar, Edward is the younger brother to former Purdue Kicker, J.D., who could have come back this season. Edward will be in the middle of a kicking battle, which is seemingly up for grabs after his brother chose to not use a free year, mostly due to an injury.

I admittedly do not know a lot on Edward, he took a redshirt last year and did log any stats, but has promise. Let the best kicker win.

Name: Preston Terrell

Position & Size: Wide Receiver, 6-3, 190Pounds

Class: Freshman

Prediction: Likely Redshirt

Thoughts: The first verbal commitment of the 2021 class nearly two years ago, arrived to campus early to get spring work in. Preston has prototypical size to be an outside receiver.

What impressed me the most with his highlight tape from Brownsburg HS, was his route running. He was never truly the fastest player on the field, but his ability to get open never wavered.

He will take a couple of seasons to see the field, but he should be a good one when it is all said and done.
