Daniels was the director of football operations at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan from 2019 to 2021. He managed all daily operations of the program and was responsible for all team travel coordination including bussing, meals, flights, hotels, itinerary and meeting spaces.
"I'm excited about Jason joining our program and the experience he brings with him from Grand Valley," said Wells. "He is already doing great work here and is a great addition to our staff. We thank John Barnett for the great job he did here for five seasons as the director of operations."
From 2015 to 2019, Daniels was the manager of football operations at Eastern Michigan University. He planned and organized team travel, coordinated team events and activities, directed all team community service efforts, filmed and photographed practices and games, and maintained the daily calendar.
Daniels earned a bachelor's degree in sport management at Eastern Michigan University in 2018 and a master's in communications from Grand Valley State University in 2021.
West served as a compliance and football recruiting graduate assistant at Missouri State University from August of 2019 to May of 2021. She assisted the recruiting coordinator with day-to-day operations, schedules and itineraries. She also assisted with the planning and execution of on-campus and virtual recruiting visits. West provided creative direction for social media campaigns and supervised projects with graphic design interns.
From June 2018 to January 2019, West was a recruiting operations intern at Stanford University. She assisted with hosting camps, women's clinics, junior days and unofficial/official visits.
"Taylor brings experience from the FBS level with her work in the PAC 12, and FCS experience from her time at Missouri State," Wells said. "I'm excited to have her here as our director of on-campus recruiting, especially with the June 1st start of official and unofficial visits. This is an important position for our program and we expect great things from her."
West has also served as the men's and women's cross country and track & field manager, and an equipment summer intern at the University of Iowa.
West earned a master's of science in student affairs in higher education from Missouri State and a bachelor's of science in sport and recreation management at the University of Iowa.
In other football staff news, defensive line coach Hawkins will add the title of run game coordinator for defense. Hawkins is in his second year as EKU's defensive line coach.
"Jeremy did an outstanding job with our defensive line unit last season," said Wells. "I'm looking forward to seeing him in this new role."
