The Notre Dame Football team will need to see new players step up in a big way in 2021, and here are five new potential impact players on offense.

The 2021 Notre Dame Football team will look to continue the program’s winning ways, and they will do so with a ton of new starters. 14 members of the 2020 team have gone on to the NFL, leaving a lot of opportunity for players to come in and step up.

Here, we look at five new faces on the offensive side of the ball that could have a major impact in 2021.

No. 5: QB Jack Coan

No big surprise here, as we kick off our list with the man who is coming in from the University of Wisconsin to try to give the Irish a veteran presence at quarterback. Notre Dame is replacing three-year starter Ian Book this season, and why not do it with a quarterback who once led the Badgers to a Big Ten title game.

Coan is a very reliable quarterback, does not take too many chances, and does not turn the ball over. For an offense looking for answers at wide receiver, and with changes up front along the offensive line, Coan is a perfect addition at this point for the program.
