Miami football trending for 4-star CB Khamauri Rogers - Canes Warning

The Miami football program is likely to face a transition at cornerback during the 2022 offseason. Four CBs will be eligible for the 2022 NFL Draft. Miami picked up three crystal balls for four-star CB Khamauri Rogers on Tuesday. Three 247 Sports Insiders logged crystal balls for Rogers to Miami on Wednesday.

David Lake and Gaby Urrutia from Inside the U and Mississippi State insider Steve Robertson all projected Rogers to Miami on Wednesday. After taking his official visit with Miami on June 18, Rogers will head to Tennessee a week later. Rogers also attended a camp at Mississippi earlier this month.

Rogers crystal balls have been all over the place since last year. After decommiting from LSU in December, Rogers was initially projected to sign with Mississippi. The Lexington, Mississippi, Holmes County High School star is also strongly considering Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

Miami picked up two crystal balls for three-star athlete Chris Graves on Sunday. Graves is projected to play CB in college. Signing talent at CB is critical for Miami in the Class of 2022. Al Blades Jr., Te’Cory Couch, D.J. Ivey and Tyrique Stevenson are all eligible for the 2022 NFL Draft

Rogers is one of three 2022 Miami football prospects invited to the Under Armour All-America Future 50 Camp on June 12.  Five-star defensive end Shemar Stewart and safety Kamari Wilson who are highly sought after by the Miami football program are also attending the Under Armour All-America Future 50 Camp.

Stewart received crystal balls for Miami on Monday while Georgia is leading for Wilson. Getting commitments from Rogers and Stewart would be significant for the 2022 Miami class that doesn’t have any commits on defense yet. Miami could receive some commitments over the next few weeks.
