The 2019 college football season is officially in the rearview mirror, and that makes it only that much easier to look at each team’s body of work and evaluate how it did this year.

In the Big 12 conference, we were treated to a little bit of everything. For some teams, 2019 was a year of rising above and beyond expectations -- perhaps even with a new head coach at the helm. Other teams proved to be exactly who we thought they were entering the season. And elsewhere in the conference, the 2019 season was one marked by disappointment for a number of teams that failed to live up to expectations. 

With the offseason now in full effect, 247Sports is handing out grades on offense, defense and coaching for teams across the entire Power 5. So how did each team in the Big 12 -- based on initial expectations and many other factors -- fare on the final report card for 2019 season? Let's take a look.
