Recruiting: 10 highest-rated Pac-12 Conference football commits in 2021 (so far)
It's extremely early in the 2021 recruiting cycle, but a few Pac-12 Conference football programs are already off to a strong start.
There are a total of 18 pledges in the conference.
Here's a look at the 10 best (so far):

10. 4* OL Josh Simmons – Oregon Ducks
247Sports four-star offensive lineman Josh Simmons is rated the nation's No. 16 offensive guard and No. 272 prospect overall.
The California product is the latest example of Oregon's recent trend landing the top offensive linemen on the West Coast under Mario Cristobal.

9. 4. WR Mavin Anderson – California Golden Bears
247Sports four-star wide receiver Mavin Anderson was a great "get" for the Cal coaching staff.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound pass-catcher chose the Golden Bears over offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Colorado, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State and others.

8. 4* DT Jay Toia – USC Trojans
Looking for a reason the Pac-12 Conference is down compared to some other Power 5 Conference programs?
Look at the West region's ability to produce big-bodied offensive and defensive linemen, which are far more plentiful in other parts of the country.
Jay Toia is the No. 1 defensive tackle in California and the No. 2 defensive tackle in the West region, behind only five-star defensive tackle J.T. Tuimoloau.
The 6-foot-3, 330-pound mauler was a great early addition for the Trojans.

7. 4* WR Kyron Ware-Hudson – Oregon Ducks
Looking for a prospect on the rise on this list?
Look no further than Mater Dei High School pass-catcher Kyron Ware-Hudson, who recently earned an Under Armour All-American Game invitation and has climbed up the rankings on both 247Sports and Rivals.
The physical 6-foot-1, 200-pound receiver committed to Oregon over offers from Arizona State, LSU, Nebraska and Washington State.
With this recent performance, it is likely more programs try to pull Ware-Hudson away from the Ducks, but he appears locked in on a future in Eugene with his brother, Oregon defensive lineman Keyon Ware-Hudson.

6. 4* TE Jermaine Terry – California Golden Bears
Arguably the biggest surprise of the list, 247Sports four-star tight end Jermaine Terry committed to Cal in February.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound jumbo pass-catcher, who is rated the nation's No. 5 tight end, chose the local Golden Bears over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Miami (Fla.), Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Texas A&M, Washington and others.

5. 4* RB Seven McGee – Oregon Ducks
Prior to missing his junior season (ineligible after a move), Seven McGee would've been several spots higher on this list, as he was rated the nation's No. 2 running back and was on the bubble for five-star status.
Seven McGee will have a chance to refresh the recruiting experts' memory of his ability this spring and next fall.
McGee is set to take several visits over the coming months and is far from a lock to wind up in Eugene, despite his long-standing interest in Oregon.

4. 4* LB Keith Brown – Oregon Ducks
Adidas All-American Bowl selection and consensus four-star linebacker Keith Brown is a very solid in-state addition for Oregon.
The 6-foot-1, 230-pound 'backer is rated the nation's No. 5 inside linebacker by 247Sports.
Brown is solid to Oregon and is very active working to recruit others to Eugene.

3. 4* LB Ma’a Gaoteote – USC Trojans
The younger brother of 2018 USC signee and former five-star Palaie Gaoteote, Ma'a Gaoteote was a slam-dunk to wind up a Trojan and he committed early in the process.
First offered in late 2017, Ma'a committed to USC more than two years ago.
He is rated the nation's No. 8 outside linebacker by 247Sports.

2. 5* QB Jake Garcia – USC Trojans
USC has two of the top three 2021 pledges in the Pac-12 Conference early, which is a good sign for a program that finished No. 55 nationally in 2020, the worst showing in program history (by a long way).
Garcia is a five-star recruit and the nation's No. 4 pro-style quarterback, according to 247Sports composite rankings.

1. 5* QB Sam Huard – Washington Huskies
Five-star quarterback Sam Huard, the nation's No. 1 pro-style passer, is the son of Damon Huard, who works for the University of Washington.
While this was a fairly easy recruitment, as far as landing five-star talent goes, Huard is a massive "get" for Washington.

Results
1, Oregon - 4
Under Armour All-American Game center Jackson Light just missed making this list and all five of Oregon's pledges are rated four-star recruits by at least one of the major recruiting sites (ESPN, 247Sports, Rivals).
Mario Cristobal's program is off to a great start.
2. USC - 3
After a disastrous 2020 recruiting cycle, USC is off to a strong start in 2021, landing a five-star quarterback and one of the nation's best linebackers.
3. California - 2
Landing Jermaine Terry was absolutely massive for the Cal program, and the staff will have to work hard to hang onto him.
After signs of progress in the 2020 cycle, Cal is making a surprising splash early in 2021 and could be a top-4 finisher on Signing Day.
4. Washington - 1
Washington has the conference's top recruit, in-state quarterback Sam Huard, and have the inside track on two other five-star recruits.
Why?
Five-star defensive tackle J.T. Tuimoloau and five-star wide receiver Emeka Egbuka also call the state of Washington home.
Anything less than the conference's No. 1 class in 2021 and Husky Nation will consider it a failure - fair or not - due to the overwhelming in-state talent.
