With a bit of time to plan a recruiting strategy, new Colorado State football coach Steve Addazio made a clear attempt to plug holes in the roster in the late signing period.
The Rams will sign another group of players on Wednesday, national signing day in college football. The group directly addresses needs on the offensive line.
Below is a tracker of all the expected signings, names of known walk-ons, some names to watch and those that de-committed from CSU. This will be updated throughout signing day.
CSU added 10 players during the early period in December. While the Rams could add up to 15 more during this period, Addazio will likely leave some spots open for potential additions or transfers later in the spring and summer.

All recruit ratings are the 247Sports composite ranking, which is an average over several recruiting ranking sites. The composite score is a numerical value of the individuals recruiting rankings.
Cameron Bariteau
Position: Defensive tackle
School: Peddie School (New Jersey)
Star rating/composite score: 3/0.8123
Height/weight: 6-0, 312
Signing: Signed Wednesday
Notable: Originally committed to New Hampshire in December but didn’t sign and flipped to CSU in January. Was days from signing with New Hampshire when CSU offer was extended by Addazio. Bariteau helped The Peddie School finish 8-0 and capture a Mid Atlantic Prep League title. He was named All-MAPL First Team Defense.
Todd Centeio
Position: Quarterback
School: Temple (transfer)
Star rating/composite score: N/A
Height/weight: 5-11, 216
Signing: Signed Wednesday
Notable: The graduate transfer will have two seasons of eligibility remaining and will be eligible for the 2020 season. Is expected to join CSU after the spring semester. In two seasons as a backup at Temple, Centeio completed 46 of 69 passes for 593 yards and seven touchdowns with one interception. He also ran for 237 yards and one TD on 67 carries.
Gage Gaynor
Position: Offensive lineman
School: Marjory Stoneman Douglas (Florida)
Star rating/composite score: 3/0.8215
Height/weight: 6-3, 285
Signing: Signed Wednesday
Notable: Is already enrolled at CSU. Gaynor is rated as the No. 35 center in the class by 247Sports. Chose CSU over reported offers from Louisville, Marshall, UNLV and Air Force, among others. Cousin, Corey Gaynor, is the starting center at Miami.
Brandon Hickerson-Rooks
Position: Defensive lineman
School: Lackawanna Community College
Star rating/composite score: N/A
Height/weight: 5-11, 221
Signing: Signed Wednesday
Notable: Originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Hickerson-Rooks is eligible to play right away and has two seasons of eligibility left. Was listed as a linebacker at Lackawanna. He had 12 sacks and his team made the NJCAA national title game, where he had 10 tackles (five for loss) and two sacks. He started his college career at Iowa Central in 2017, but left after a coaching change and having a daughter. His daughter and girlfriend will join him in Fort Collins, according to PennLive.
Tautai Marks

School: Mater Dei (California)

Signing: Signed Wednesday
Notable: Is rated as the No. 30 center in the 2020 class by 247Sports and chose CSU over five other reported offers, including Utah State, UNLV and New Mexico.
Aaron Moore
Position: Linebacker
School: Oakland (Tennessee)

Height/weight: 6-0, 206
Signing: Signed Wednesday
Notable: Is rated as the No. 100 outside linebacker in the class by 247Sports. Moore was the Tennessee Region 3-6A defensive MVP with 81 tackles (18 for loss), 6.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and a blocked kick. He chose CSU over reported offers from Arkansas, Missouri, Purdue, Memphis and Rutgers, among others.
Dirk Nelson
Position: Center
School: Central Valley Christian Schools (California)

Signing: Signed Wednesday
Notable: Nelson’s grandparents have a cattle ranch in Meeker, which is where his father grew up. Nelson’s grandfather is a CSU graduate. Is rated as the No. 31 center in the 2020 class by 247Sports and chose CSU over nine other reported offers including Oregon, Air force, Nevada, UNLV and New Mexico.
Cam Reddy
Position: Offensive line
School: Boston College (transfer)
Star rating/composite score: N/A
Height/weight: 6-1, 302
Signing: Signed Wednesday
Notable: Reddy is already enrolled at CSU. He redshirted in 2018 at Boston College and is listed as participating in one game in the 2019 season. Was recruited by and played for Addazio at Boston College.
Owen Snively
Position: Offensive line
School: Tilton School (New Hampshire)
Star rating/composite score: 3/N/A
Height/weight: 6-4, 280
Signing: Signed Wednesday
Notable: Signing day decision came down to CSU and Rutgers and wasn't announced publicly until he signed his NLI. Visited CSU on Jan. 24 and Rutgers a week later. Ranked as a three-star recruit by 247Sports and the No. 2 player in the class in New Hampshire.
Sanjay Strickland
Position: Linebacker
School: Pomona
Star rating/composite score: 3/N/A
Height/weight: 6-1, 230
Signing: Signed Wednesday
Notable: Had 108 tackles (80 solo), 15.5 sacks and 27.5 tackles for loss as a senior. Battled injury the previous two seasons. Reported offers were New Mexico, Northern Colorado, Idaho and North Dakota until CSU swooped in late with an offer on signing eve. Is the fifth Colorado signee in the 2020 class.
Preferred walk-ons
These players have announced that they will attend CSU and play football, but they are not on scholarship and will join the team as preferred walk-ons.
Garrett Burns (Fossil Ridge) — The 6-foot-2, 183-pound Burns led Fossil Ridge in receiving in 2019 with 522 yards on 40 catches.
Devon Edwards (Mead) — The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Edwards ran for 325 yards and five touchdowns as a senior and added 55 tackles as a linebacker.
Sawyer Shepherd (Resurrection Christian) — The 6-foot-5, 237-pound defensive end/tight end had 67 tackles and six sacks as a senior. He also caught 24 passes for 362 yards and three tight ends.
Robert Liss (Verrado, Arizona) — The 5-foot-10, 160-pound kicker hit seven of eight field goal attempts as a senior in 2019, with a long of 47.
Here then gone
Over the course of the recruiting period, several players committed to CSU and then flipped. Some came early due to the coaching change, others were poached by bigger schools.
Jackson Muschamp, quarterback, Hammond School (South Carolina) — CSU’s curse of inability to sign QB’s out of high school continues. Muschamp, the son of South Carolina coach Will Muschamp, de-committed Tuesday night in order to walk-on at Georgia. The Rams haven’t signed a high school QB since Justice McCoy in the 2017 class and have had de-commits at the position in Matthew Baldwin (2018 class, flipped to Ohio State), Griffin Brewster (2020 class, de-committed after Mike Bobo’s firing and is going to Kent State) and now Muschamp. Centeio's transfer in does help ease the pressure to sign a high school QB in this class.
Griffin Brewster, quarterback, Darlington School (Georgia) — Had committed to CSU under Bobo and de-committed before the December signing day. Is now expected to sign at Kent State.
Weston Wallace, offensive lineman, Gatewood School (Georgia) — Committed to CSU under Bobo and the Rams were his only offer, but de-committed due to the coaching change. Has said he’ll walk-on at Georgia.
Josh Henderson, linebacker, Grace Brethren (California) — De-committed right before the December signing period opened and has since said he’ll sign with Kent State.
Uriah Greene, offensive lineman, Mallard Creek (North Carolina) — Another Bobo commit who didn’t sign in December and is now committed to South Florida.
Briceon Hayes, defensive end, Huntsville (Texas) — The three-star recruit committed to the Rams on Aug. 9, but decommitted on Oct. 2. He committed to Sam Houston State in early December.
