Oregon Ducks recruiting: How commitments are rated in 247Sports' updated football rankings

247Sports released its updated recruiting rankings for the class of 2021.

It's early, but with five commitments and the nation's No. 9 recruiting class, several future Oregon players were impacted.

Here's how the Oregon Ducks commits stacked up:

3* C Jackson Light (Draper, Utah)

Interior offensive lineman Jackson Light is rated the No. 12 center in the nation (No. 870 overall), a small drop that still places him among the nation's best in the middle of an offensive line.

4* OG Josh Simmons (La Mesa, California)

Four-star offensive guard Josh Simmons took a small step down in the rankings, but is still rated the nation's No. 14 player at his position and the No. 259 prospect overall.

The 6-foot-5, 323-pound lineman chose Oregon over offers from Arizona, Colorado, Oregon State, UCLA, USC and others.

4* ATH Kyron Ware-Hudson (Santa Ana, California)

Four-star athlete/wide receiver Kyron Ware-Hudson has seen his stock rise on both Rivals and 247Sports of late.

The physical 6-foot-1, 200-pound pass-catcher is rated the nation's No. 21 athlete and No. 291 prospect overall.

4* RB Seven McGee (Corona, California)

An electric playmaker in open space, running back/wide receiver Seven McGee missed his entire junior season due to eligibility issues.

He's back in California after another stop in New York, but his absence from the football field appears to have hurt his stock, at least temporarily.

McGee is rated nation's No. 12 running back and No. 150 prospect overall.

He was rated as highly as the nation's No. 2 running back and No. 33 prospect overall as recently as mid-summer.

4* ILB Keith Brown (Lebanon, Oregon)

Once rated the nation's No. 1 inside linebacker, Lebanon star Keith Brown has fallen just a little bit.

He's now listed as the nation's No. 130 overall prospect and No. 4 inside linebacker.

Still, Brown is the top-rated player in Oregon and one of the top linebackers on the West Coast.
