The first show will be held Monday, August 30 and will continue each Monday at Noon throughout the football season with the final show set to take place prior to the Huskies' last game of the season.
Fans can hear the show live by downloading the FREE NIU Huskies app on iOS or Android, or with the new free The Varsity Network app. "Inside Huskie Football" can also be heard each Monday night at 7 p.m. on NIU flagship station WLBK AM 1360/FM 98.9.
Hammock and Baker will look ahead to the Huskies' upcoming football game, review highlights of the previous week's contest and provide fans with an inside look at the team. This Monday, NIU Associate Vice-President and Director of Athletics Sean T. Frazier stops by to kick off the first show with the latest news surrounding NIU Athletics as the 2021-22 sports year gets underway. Throughout the year, Baker will welcome coaches of different NIU sports programs and the show introduces fans to two members of the NIU football team each week.
