COMPLETE SCHEDULE
The "9+1" scheduling model features a September 26 start date for Conference play. Each team will have a minimum of two bye dates.
Baylor opens the season on Sept. 12 against a still-to-be-determined non-conference opponent at McLane Stadium. Following a bye week, the Bears open Big 12 play at home against Kansas (Sept. 26).
BU begins October with a trip to West Virginia Oct. 3 followed by another open date. Oct. 17 begins a string of three consecutive games by first hosting Oklahoma State, then a trip to Texas (Oct. 24) and a Halloween home showdown with TCU (Oct. 31).
November includes back-to-back trips to Iowa State (Nov. 7) and Texas Tech (Nov. 14). Following the Bears' third open date, BU hosts K-State on Nov. 28. Baylor wraps up the 2020 regular season on Dec. 5 at Oklahoma.
Television selections for each game will be released in the future.
The Dr Pepper Big 12 Championship Game is tentatively scheduled for December 12. All non-conference games must be completed before September 26 and the match-ups will be announced by each individual conference member.
McLane Stadium capacity and ticketing details and information will be announced later today via the Baylor Bear Foundation. Details about how McLane Stadium capacity will affect other University activities such as the Baylor Line and student ticketing will be outlined in the coming weeks. Additionally, ticketing and activities planned for Baylor's Family Weekend and Homecoming will be modified to create the most robust experience possible while being mindful of the safety and health of the Baylor Family and our community.
Big 12 members have committed to enhanced COVID-19 testing that includes three tests per week in "high contact" sports, like Football, Volleyball and Soccer. Additionally, return to play protocols after positive occurrences will include an EKG, troponin blood test, echocardiogram, and cardiac MRI. Non-conference football opponents must also adhere to COVID-19 testing protocols that conform to Big 12 standards during the week leading up to competition.
