Here’s a complete roundup of Friday’s Week 2 high school football action from around the state.

NONREGION

GRANGER 40, CLEARFIELD 21: The Lancers jumped out to a 34-0 lead at the half and continued on to secure the win over Clearfield. Kadius Fuimaono and Dionnzy Fue each had two rushing touchdowns in the victory.

SALEM HILLS 27, FREMONT 10: Trailing after the first quarter, Salem Hills rallied, scoring 24 second half points to defeat Fremont. The Skyhawks dropped 17 points in the fourth quarter alone while holding the Silverwolves to only three points in the entire second half. Salem Hills did most of its damage on the ground, with Jarret Elmer, Austin Hallows and Willie Leota all rushing for scores. Placekicker Bruce Butler added six points, courtesy of two made field goals.

DAVIS 45, VIEWMONT 6: Davis scored the first 45 points of the game, cruising to victory. Chance Trujillo threw three touchdown passes, two to Owen Murdock, and rushed for one more.

WEBER 28, BOUNTIFUL 3: Jake Lindsay had three passing touchdowns, including two to Cannon Devries, in Weber’s win over Bountiful.

FARMINGTON 28, SYRACUSE 7: Farmington scored a touchdown in every quarter in the victory over Syracuse. Caden Reynolds, Drew Patterson, Boston Reinhold and Payton Patterson all rushed for scores.

ROY 24, DIXIE 21: Down by seven in the fourth quarter, Roy scored the next 10 points to come away with the win. A 20-yard field goal from Britton Watts cut the lead to four and a 16-yard run from Parker Kingston sealed the win for the Royals.

TAYLORSVILLE 37, NORTHRIDGE 31: A showdown that was so close, it needed an extra period to award a victor. Braxton Bates’ touchdown run in the overtime delivered the finishing blow to Northridge and gave Taylorsville the nail-biting victory.

BRIGHTON 38, LAYTON 7: Cole Lavin and Owen Powers both scored rushing touchdowns, while Lavin threw for one in Brighton’s win.

OLYMPUS 19, HUNTER 10: Olympus led from start to finish, although it was a tight win over Hunter. A safety got the Titans going before Johnny Frank went on to rush for two touchdowns. Max Foulger added a 30-yard field goal for Olympus.

WEST 28, WOODS CROSS 15: Every time Woods Cross made a push, West responded, especially in the fourth quarter. Talitui Pututau’s pick-six with under two minutes remaining delivered the crushing blow to the Wildcats.

KEARNS 41, MOUNTAIN RIDGE 14: A strong 21-point first quarter gave Kearns the separation it needed to stave off any of Mountain Ridge’s comeback efforts.

OREM 24, EAST 0: Orem’s dominant defense shut out East. Micah Fe’A was great for Orem, throwing three touchdown passes, one each to Silas Sagote, Joe Smith and Noah Erickson and Joshua Dudley tacked on a field goal. | Full story

LONE PEAK 52, JORDAN 3: It was never close as Lone Peak defeated Jordan. Quarterback Luke Romney threw three touchdown passes to three different receivers and Jaxson Willits rushed for three scores.

CORNER CANYON 56, HERRIMAN 0: Jaxson Dart led Corner Canyon with two rushing touchdowns and four passing, three of which went to Talmage Handley, as the Chargers cruised to the shutout victory over Herriman.

SKY VIEW 42, BONNEVILLE 21: Led by running back Walter Collins, Sky View took down Bonneville. Collins rushed for two touchdowns and caught another. Bobcats quarterback Kasen Carlsen threw for a pair of scores, to Collins and Titan Saxton, helping Sky View out to an early lead. Truman Moser also scored the the ground for the defending 4A state champs.

GREEN CANYON 30, BOX ELDER 29: Trailing by two scores entering the fourth quarter, Green Canyon found a way past Box Elder for the last-minute victory. Quarterback Jake Lundin found Jacob Regen for the game-winning four-yard touchdown with 24 seconds remaining. Lundin also rushed for two touchdowns to lead the way for the Wolves, while Mckade Hellstern added a rushing score.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 53, TIMPANOGOS 13: After trailing early, not once, but twice, Mountain View erupted for 32 unanswered second half points and defeated Timpanogos. The Bruins did much of their work on the ground, as Rilan Sigua, Liam Hone, David Hair and Curtis Coleman all rushed for touchdowns.

NORTH SANPETE 38, EMERY 6: North Sanpete made sure the contest was never close, scoring the first 38 points of the game. Landon Bowles had three touchdowns, two to Cole Mickel, in the win.

BEAVER 41, DELTA 9: After falling behind 3-0 after the first quarter, Beaver exploded to score 41 points in the second and third. EJ Allred had three touchdowns for the Beavers.

MILLARD 58, JUDGE MEMORIAL 7: After a scoreless first quarter, Millard exploded for a 38-point second quarter, setting the tone in a blowout win. Braxton Bond threw for two touchdowns and Jed and Luke DeGraffenried each rushed for one.

SOUTH SUMMIT 12, NORTH SUMMIT 10: Down 10 after the first quarter, South Summit rallied for a comeback win. Caleby Thompson scored from 10 yards out to get it within striking distance, then Brice Clegg returned a fumble 40 yards to the house for the win.

AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 24, BEN LOMOND 7: Hyrum Morley threw two touchdowns and Nate Johnson had a 21-yard interception return to seal the win for American Leadership.

ALTA 54, DESERT HILLS 14: After a slow first quarter, the Alta offense exploded and cruised to the big win over Desert Hills. Ethan Jackson finished the game with three passing touchdowns in the victory.

SKYLINE 49, SPRINGVILLE 14: Braxton Bolingbroke was electric for Skyline. Bolingbroke had six passing touchdowns and led Skyline to a dominant victory over Springville.

UNION 40, UINTAH 10: Union jumped out to a 34-10 lead at the half and never looked back en route to the big win over Uintah.

RICHFIELD 34, NORTH SEVIER 21: Richfield scored in each quarter to grind its way to the victory over North Sevier. Gavin Brown rushed for a touchdown and tossed in four more, connecting with Max Robinson and Jake Hyatt twice apiece in the Wildcats’ victory at home.

PARK CITY 44, JUAN DIEGO 10: Leading by only six points entering the fourth quarter, Park City scored 28 unanswered to take down Juan Diego. Seth Warner, Max Alford and Matt Demarco all rushed for touchdowns in the deciding quarter, while Alford rushed for three scores in the game. Miners quarterback Carson Tabarraci also threw a touchdown to Sam Alford.

MANTI 51, PAYSON 21: Tyson Brenchley rushed for three scores in Manti’s win over Payson.

WESTLAKE 30, PROVO 13: After falling behind by a touchdown early, the Thunder scored 20 points starting at the end of the first quarter through the close of the third, pulling away from Provo for the victory. Thunder quarterback Brayden Ross threw for a touchdown and rushed for another, while Kanyon Lee and Kip Watterson also rushed for Westlake scores.

SPANISH FORK 48, CEDAR VALLEY 27: The Dons scored consistently in each quarter to pick up the home victory against Cedar Valley. Jacob Tutagavou rushed for two touchdowns and tossed in another, while Tayson Reid ran for two more TDs in the win.

KANAB 42, RICH 6: Bracken McQuivey rushed for three touchdowns for the Cowboys as Kanab cruised to the home victory over Rich.

STANSBURY 38, LOGAN 6: The Stansbury defense allowed just one scoring play from the Grizzlies as the Stallions picked up the victory at home. Kru Huxford threw for a touchdown and ran for another while teammate Nate Bushnell rushed for two more TDs in win.

ENTERPRISE 43, SOUTH SEVIER 0: Enterprise cruised to the shutout victory over South Sevier. Braxton Messersmith and Bryant Jimenez each rushed for two touchdowns for the Wolves on the night.

COPPER HILLS 20, HILLCREST 6: Tied 6-6 heading into the final quarter of player, Copper Hills scored 14 unanswered in the fourth quarter to earn the win.

HURRICANE 15, MURRAY 14: Toe-to-toe throughout the game, it was Hurricane’s two-point conversion with under a minute to play that gave it the minimal separation it needed to get the clutch victory.

LEHI 36, CRIMSON CLIFFS 0: Powered by a ground game that produced four touchdowns, the Pioneers defeated Crimson Cliffs. Lehi was led by Peyton Dieters, who rushed for two scores. Grady Gonzalez and Chandler Jenkins also rushed for touchdowns, while Bode Hinckley recorded a pick six.

PLEASANT GROVE 19, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 14: Pleasant Grove did all its scoring in the first half as it picked up the victory over Maple Mountain. Porter Connors rushed for two touchdowns to help lead the Vikings in the win. | Full story

BEAR RIVER 20, MORGAN 14: Bear River used scores from Chance Udy, Garrison Marble and Kace Jones to beat Morgan.

COTTONWOOD 14, CARBON 12: Extra points were the difference-makers of the game as the Colts picked up a narrow victory over Carbon.

OGDEN 35, PROVIDENCE HALL 6: Ogden’s defense played angry throughout the entire game. The only score allowed by Ogden came in the fourth quarter when the contest was out of reach. The defensive play along with a strong rushing attack made Ogden difficult to beat in this one.

JUAB 30, CEDAR CITY 19: Juab outscored Cedar City 23-6 in the second half to pull away for the comeback win. Grant Orme and Trey Lund each rushed for a touchdown to lead the Wasps, while Bodee Blackett added a kick return for a score.

WASATCH 20, MOUNTAIN CREST 6: The Wasatch defense gave its offense the time it needed to slowly increase the lead to get the victory.

SUMMIT ACADEMY 49, SAN JUAN 28: Joe Garlick found four different receivers for touchdowns during the game, including Jaxon Case, who also rushed for two more TDs as Summit Academy picked up the victory over San Juan.

MILFORD 34, GUNNISON VALLEY 9: After a scoreless first quarter, the Tigers picked up the decisive win over Gunnison Valley. Bo Hardy had two rushing and two passing TDs for Milford in the win.

PINE VIEW 21, HIGHLAND 13: Pine View quarterback Brayden Bunnell and receiver Dominique Mckenzie had a strong connection in this game with two touchdowns.

DUCHESNE 20, PAROWAN 3: The Eagles methodically built the lead and ultimately came out on top against the Rams.

CANYON VIEW 61, GRAND 22: Canyon View scored the first 40 points of the game en route to th blowout win. Gunner Hatch had three rushing touchdowns to lead the way for the Falcons.

SKYRIDGE 35, BINGHAM 7: Powered by quarterback McCae Hillstead, Skyridge handily defeated Bingham. Hillstead rushed for a score and found Mitch Adamson, James Palmer, Jeter Fenton and Kiai Keone for passing touchdowns. | Full story

RIVERTON 30, WEST JORDAN 0: Powered by a 20-point second quarter, Riverton took down West Jordan. Silverwolves quarterback Jaxon Howard threw two touchdowns, one to Jaxon Bennett and the other to Andrew Mangum. Brayden Hunkin and Bennett also rushed for scores in the win.

GRANTSVILLE 21, TOOELE 0: Blake Thomas rushed for two touchdowns, Logan White found Nate Wright in the end zone for another and Grantsville defeated Tooele. The Cowboys shut out the Buffaloes while doing their damage in the second and third quarters.
