Beginning with ODU football's season opener on Saturday, Sept. 11, all season tickets and a majority of single game tickets will be delivered digitally. Access to Ballard Stadium premium seating areas will remain as physical tickets, lanyard or wristband. All football tailgate parking passes will remain as physical hang tags and will be mailed to recipients prior to the season. ODU plans to send out mobile tickets to season ticket holders on Monday, August 30. Ticket holders will receive an email with a link they can use to view and download their mobile tickets by adding them to their digital wallets. Fans will also be able to access their mobile tickets through their YnotTix.com account, where they have the option to print their tickets from home. Call the ODU Ticket Office at 757-683-4444, if you need assistance or have any mobile ticketing issues.
"Switching from printed tickets to mobile tickets is another component to the enhanced fan experience that we plan to roll out for the 2021 football season. We began mobile ticketing at Chartway Arena this past winter for the 250 guests that were allowed to attend each basketball game and the new process worked extremely well. We're excited to offer this service on a much larger scale this football season," said Dr. Jason Chandler, Senior Associate AD for External Operations & Revenue Generation. "We believe mobile ticketing provides added flexibility in exchanging and transferring tickets, and the convenience of not having to keep track of physical tickets. They simply download their tickets onto their phone, and they are ready to use."

Some key elements of mobile ticketing functionality are listed below:
- Delivery - Once tickets have been added to your account, you will receive email notification and can select the upcoming game.
- Add - Select the game and seats you need, then select to add tickets to your digital wallet. It is recommended that you save your tickets to your mobile device prior to gameday for quick and easy access when at the gates. Downloading your tickets in advance of game day is the easiest way to ensure you have them on your phone.
- Transfer - Use the transfer process to quickly and easily transfer seats to other members of your party for scanning, or if you cannot make it to the game, you can transfer your tickets to friends and family directly from your mobile device.
- Present - Pull up your tickets via the digital wallet on your mobile device and simply scan the QR code on each ticket to enter the venue. Each mobile ticket should be kept secure and treated like any other valid ticket.
ODU opens its home schedule on Saturday, September 11 when the Monarchs welcome Hampton to Kornblau Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff. Click here to purchase tickets.
