DENTON, Texas – North Texas senior offensive lineman Manase Mose has been named to the watch list for the 2021 Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award, as announced by the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame Thursday.
Mose, a native of Euless, Texas, has played in 35 games in his career for the Mean Green with 35 starts. He has played both center and guard in his career. Mose was an honorable mention All-Conference USA selection in 2020.
The award is presented annually to the most outstanding college football player of Polynesian ancestry that epitomizes great ability and integrity. The watch list is composed of 63 players from 31 different FBS schools.
The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame honors Polynesia's greatest players, coaches, and contributors. Its permanent home is located at the Polynesian Cultural Center and was established in 2013 by Super Bowl Champions Jesse Sapolu and Ma'a Tanuvasa. Other board members include Troy Polamalu, Vai Sikahema, June Jones and Reno Mahe.
North Texas opens the 2021 season at Apogee Stadium against Northwestern State at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 4. Season tickets, mini plans and single-game tickets for the 2021 season are now available online.
