The 2021 NFL Draft is only days away. The Washington Football Team will be on the clock at pick No. 19 overall. The last decade of draft history at pick No. 19 has had mixed results.

We all love mock drafts, but at some point, we just need to see what’s going to happen. Washington will of course be on the clock for the first time at pick No. 19, barring any trades.
This article will not be a mock draft, but briefly discussed in a bit will be some possible options for the WFT at pick No. 19, if in fact you haven’t read enough mock drafts to this point.
First, let’s take a look back at the last decade of NFL Draft history with a focus on those players selected at pick No.19. As a draft history enthusiast, I find it intriguing to see what caliber of player can found at any particular point of the draft. Draft history has a way of showing what kind of talent can be available at certain spots. Thus, it’s something to keep in mind.
After reviewing the players selected at No. 19 overall, beginning with the 2010 NFL Draft, history has shown mixed results in terms of career success. Success is defined by Merriam-Webster Dictionary as “a favorable or desired outcome.”
Since 2010, the players drafted at No.19 overall have combined for one Pro Bowl appearance and four Super Bowl rings. Each player has achieved their own version of success in their respective careers, but only a few truly stand out. Here are those players:
