Easton Area High School’s Nahjee Adams was an All-State pick after his junior football season.
Now, the process of picking a future school is heating up for the star running back.
Adams recently received his eighth Division I offer when St. Francis (Pa.) University came on board Monday.
To date, the Red Rover has five Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) offers -- St. Francis, Georgetown, Stony Brook, Furman and Lafayette -- and three Football Bowl Subdivision (FCS) opportunities -- Bowling Green, Buffalo and Massachusetts.
Lafayette was the first D-I school to open a scholarship for Adams.
The junior, a lehighvalleylive All-Area first-teamer, rushed for 1,868 yards and 26 touchdowns on 267 carries during the fall.
He’s also a two-time Offensive MVP of the Thanksgiving rivalry vs. Phillipsburg.
