MOREHEAD, Ky. -- With Homecoming this week, Morehead State Athletics would like to advise and remind football fans of the traffic flow and parking at Jayne Stadium.
The Eagles host Butler at 3 p.m. ET. For a full schedule of homecoming events visit https://alumni.moreheadstate.edu/homecoming.
For fans who hold passes to the Tailgate Zone, the lone entrance is off highway 60 onto Playforth Place. Limited tailgate spots remain for single events by filling out the form. Tailgate passes for Homecoming must be submitted by Friday (Oct. 15). The Tailgating Zone will be open four hours prior to kickoffs.
For fans using general parking ($10 per vehicle), those vehicles will turn onto Lee Cemetery Road off of either highway 60 or Main Street. Vehicles will then turn right onto Morrow Drive and proceed past the soccer field and into the complex that way. General parking will be in the lots above Jayne Stadium (behind baseball stadium and in the softball lot at the bottom of the hill). NO cars for general parking should turn into the Tailgate Zone entrance.
Once those lots are full, the right turn at Morrow Drive will not be necessary and fans will be directed to lots at the Space Science Building and the Educational Services Building.
Parking lot attendants and Morehead State Police will be out to assist fans and direct them to the correct entrances.
Athletics would also like to remind fans that ALL ticket sales are mobile only. No cash or money of any kind will be accepted for tickets at the gate. Fans can use QR codes at the stadium and in the Tailgate Zone to access the ticket site before they head to the entrances.
This traffic and parking flow will remain in place for the remainder of the 2021 football season. Football has two additional home games scheduled on Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. versus Davidson and Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. versus Stetson.
