The 49ers may have a QB change in mind
After Sunday night's loss coach Kyle Shanahan was asked if he'll stick with Jimmy Garoppolo as the Niners' starting QB. This is what he said:

Kyle Shanahan did not give Jimmy Garoppolo a ringing endorsement after his three-turnover performance. Asked if Garoppolo will start vs. Bears, he said, “I would guess so. we’ll have to watch tape and see if guys are healthy.”

Shanahan is noncommittal about the QB situation moving into next week at Chicago. He was asked twice about it and both times answered by saying he has to evaluate the 49ers’ health situation at the position before determining who gives SF the best chance to win

Michael Pittman is a stud
We tiptoed around this earlier, but Pittman is just grabbing everything throw his way... and Wentz is not throwing great balls at all tonight — all the receivers have to adjust to some degree (all of them outside of poor Nyheim Hines, who had a really rough drop on a perfect throw in the first half and hasn't been heard from since). But Pittman is becoming the receiver Wentz can depend on and he's getting it done in ridiculous playing conditions, too

I have 2 point conversion stats, if anyone cares
Since 2000, the most two-point conversions attempted in a game by one team is 5. I'm not sure how to sort it by "in a game by both teams" but I'm sure there's a way. Point is, we have a ways to go until we hit that record.

It's 20-12 Colts. The 49ers fans are booing the offense.
It's clear Kyle Shanahan doesn't have a lot of trust in Jimmy G. They should just go back to the motion run game that worked on the first drive of the game with Elijah Mitchell.
If you own any players in fantasy, I wouldn't put a lot of stock in these stats. It's been an U-G-L-Y game.

Jonathan Taylor into the endzone
Another pass interference call sets up Jonathan Taylor's score from the 5-yard line. The fumble led to the short field and Carson Wentz and Taylor took advantage of the penalties and an easy run into paydirt.
