It’s the biggest matchup, perhaps ever, between rivals Michigan football and Michigan State, as the two teams are 7-0 and ranked in the top 10 — something probably nobody predicted for each in the preseason.

While we here at WolverinesWire have our predictions for the battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy and in-state supremacy, what about those who actually played in the game?

With the two teams appearing evenly matched on paper and awfully similar in a lot of ways, it’s a difficult outcome to discern. Still, several former Wolverines tried their hand at it, from Wilton Speight to Chase Winovich to Devin Gardner — and many more.

Here is what former Michigan football players are predicting for the Oct. 30 matchup once the clock hits zero.
