The Huskers are back at work following Saturday’s heartbreaking loss to Michigan at Memorial Stadium.
Head Coach Scott Frost said this weekend’s road game against Minnesota will be another test, but he expects a different attitude.
“I think we were 4-2 when we went up there two years ago, and we played really uninspired football,” he said. “...We didn’t play tough that night. I give them credit. They had a really really good team two years ago, good team last year, but we haven’t played our best against them either.”
Nebraska’s blowout win against Minnesota in 2018 was Frost’s first win at Nebraska. The last two seasons, the Golden Gophers have bested the Cornhuskers. The two teams have split their 10 games as Big Ten conference opponents.
Before their off week next weekend, Frosts said he expects the Huskers to be mentally ready for what will be their eighth game in eight weeks.
