The Washington Football Team doesn’t have a greater need for defensive players in the 2021 NFL Draft, but a few could be targeted. Today’s all-defensive mock takes a look at some of these players.
The Washington Football Team added some key players during the first few days of free agency and the 2021 roster is now slowly starting to take shape. Additional players have been signed in recent days and the secondary market will continue to slowly evolve. Later in April, Washington will have more opportunities to improve the roster through the draft. With that in mind, we have another mock draft for you today.
Recently, we brought you a mock draft that was dedicated to offense only. In the spirit of fairness to players who make their living on the other side of the ball, we have a mock today that is devoted to defense only. While this may seem like an exercise in futility, the overall purpose is to introduce more prospects who could be targeted in the draft.
We will not be using the “either/or” format that you have seen in several mocks and there are no trades today. Would the Washington Football Team consider devoting their time and energy to one side of the team only in the upcoming draft? That’s possible, but not too realistic. Conventional wisdom seems to suggest that offense could receive more attention next month, but the defense will be a focal point as well. Let’s see if we can find a bunch of defensive gems!
