Is there a 'Thursday Night Football' game tonight? NFL schedule, TV channels for Week 13 - Sporting News

There won't be a "Thursday Night Football" game between the Ravens and the Cowboys in Week 13, although Fox has found a way to put a new spin on football this Thursday night.

The NFL rescheduled Ravens-Cowboys for Tuesday in Week 13 due to a COVID-19 outbreak on Baltimore. Fox didn't want its prime-time TV slot to go to total waste, though. The network shifted the MLS Western Conference Semifinal between Sporting Kansas City and Minnesota United to Thursday night from a previously scheduled Wednesday time slot. That's Thursday night world football to you.

Fox retains broadcast rights to the Dallas-Baltimore game, but it'll be an 8:05 p.m. ET start on Tuesday, Dec. 8. That followed the league being forced to shift the Ravens' Week 12 game in Pittsburgh back from Thanksgiving and then back again from a Sunday afternoon slot before it eventually got played Wednesday. Baltimore could still be at the tail end of recoveries from COVID-19 on its roster, a list which included 2019 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson.

Below is all you need to know about the rest of the Week 13 NFL schedule, including kickoff times and TV channels.

Is there a 'Thursday Night Football' game tonight?

There was supposed to be a "Thursday Night Football" game tonight, but there is not. The Ravens and Cowboys have been rescheduled to play Tuesday, Dec. 8, due to Baltimore's Week 12 game being postponed three times because of a COVID-19 outbreak on its team.

Assuming no further changes in the schedule, "Thursday Night Football" will resume in Week 14 when the Patriots and Cam Newton travel west to take on Jared Goff and the Rams. In Week 13, though, you'll have to settle for something else on your TV for Thursday night.
