Jahnke: Fantasy football reactions from the Seahawks' TNF win over the Cardinals | Fantasy Football News, Rankings and Projections - Pro Football Focus

The Thursday night game was a rematch of one of the most exciting games of the season — Arizona's 37-34 overtime win in Week 7. There weren't as many big plays in this one, but it remained close throughout. Several players had decent games — six different players scored touchdowns, though no one reached 100 yards.

As always, this collection of fantasy reactions will include snap counts for skill players on each team, along with notes on players who saw their fantasy stocks rise or fall during the action — and how we should react to anything new.

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks

Winner: WR Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks

Lockett didn’t didn’t put up 200 yards and three touchdowns like he did a few weeks ago against the Cardinals, but he still had the best numbers of the night. He caught all nine passes thrown his way for 67 yards and a touchdown. He led both teams in receptions and yards. Teammate D.K. Metcalf also had a decent night with 46 yards and a touchdown. This was Metcalf’s best game against the Cardinals and could have been much better but he was interfered with multiple times and had a big catch called back by offensive holding.

Loser: WR DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona Cardinals

Hopkins gets the loser spot because he had the biggest gap between the fantasy stats expected and what he ended up doing. Last time these teams played, he caught 10 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown. The Seahawks have given up more fantasy points to wide receivers than any other team this season, and they were without their top cornerbacks. This should have been another huge game for Hopkins. Instead, he caught five passes for 51 yards. Larry Fitzgerald ended up with more targets, catches and yards, including several catches late in the game. Hopkins will obviously bounce back, but fantasy managers are still disappointed by that stat line.

Returning From Injury: RB Carlos Hyde, Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks’ backfield has looked very different from one week to the next. The team got Hyde back from injury after he missed five of the last six games. Bo Scarbrough was brought up from the practice squad for the first time this season. Last week’s leading rusher, Alex Collins, was back to the practice squad while Chris Carson and Travis Homer were both inactive with injuries.

Hyde was generally effective as the Seahawks’ lead back with 79 yards on 14 carries and a touchdown. He caught two of three passes thrown his way for 16 yards. Both his rushing and receiving totals were season highs. He could be a good waiver wire pickup in case Carson misses more games or if Hyde plays ahead of Carson on run plays while the team eases Carson back in.

Injury: TE Greg Olsen, Seattle Seahawks

Olsen was carted off the field in the fourth quarter with a foot injury. Prior to the injury, he caught two passes for 20 yards. It was his sixth-straight game with two or fewer catches. If the injury is significant, then Jacob Hollister would be worth a waiver wire pickup — he would see a significant increase in playing time. Hollister has nearly double the targets of Will Dissly over the last five games despite running fewer routes. Dissly could see a slight increase in snaps and usage, but Hollister has a lot of room for his numbers to go up. Dissly had more snaps than Hollister after the injury, but Hollister ran one more pass route. Both players had one catch after Olsen’s injury.
