The Washington Football Team, still tied for the lead in the NFC East, is 1-3 after losing 31-17 to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4.

Few expected the Washington Football Team to prevail against Baltimore, and many expected them to get blown out. The final result wasn’t quite a blowout, as Washington rallied late to put some points on the board before the game’s conclusion. But Baltimore predictably won with decisiveness, and Washington again displayed a primary habit of inconsistency.

Washington is still surprisingly in the playoff hunt after a third straight loss, but if Ron Rivera wants to remain in playoff contention, then things will need to improve. There were modest gains in crucial areas on Sunday, but still, more is needed. Here are our takeaways from the Washington Football Team’s Week 4 loss to the Ravens.
