The Washington Football Team snapped a five-game losing streak in dramatic fashion on Sunday by dominating a wounded Cowboys team. There are plenty of positives to mention and very few negatives.
The Washington Football Team spent five weeks in a losing vacuum that brought the scorn of fans and many changes to the team during that stretch of time. Last week, the team suffered a heartbreaking loss, but there were some positives to build on. Washington took another step in the right direction on Sunday with a dismantling of the Cowboys.
Analysts and pundits may argue that the Washington Football Team victory came at the expense of a team that was nursing many injured players. That’s obviously true, but a team that is looking to establish a winning culture must take advantage of every opportunity that is presented to them. Washington did just that on Sunday and left no doubt about who was the better team when the final seconds ticked away.
As a result of the rout against the Cowboys, there are plenty of positives to talk about today and there are some negatives as well. It’s always a good day when the positives outweigh the negatives, but there are some issues that can’t be ignored.
Here is one quick positive for everyone: If the Washington Football Team had converted that two-point attempt two weeks ago, they would be all alone in first place with a 3-0 division record. It’s a pleasant thought, but it was also a character builder for the team. With all of that in mind, let’s get to the Week 7 positives and negatives.
