FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State and Washington will square off on the gridiron for the first time when the two schools take the field to open the 2025 season, the programs jointly announced on Friday.
The Rams and Huskies are set to open the 2025 season on Aug. 30 at Husky Stadium in Seattle, and the addition concludes Colorado State's non-conference scheduling for that season.
Following the trip to Washington, Colorado State will host Big 12 foe Texas Tech on Sept. 6 and Northern Colorado on Sept. 13 before traveling to Vanderbilt on Sept. 27 to conclude non-conference play with three Power 5 opponents.
Colorado State will play two or more Power 5 opponents each season through at least 2027 as currently announced. Over that same span, the Rams will also host a Power 5 team in six of the next seven seasons.

2033 – at Colorado
2034 – Colorado
