Oregon State head coach Jonathan Smith watches as the Beavers hold their fifth practice of fall football camp in Corvallis, Oregon on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019. Sean Meagher/Staff
Oregon State football coach Jonathan Smith joined me on the radio show on Monday to talk about the impact the coronavirus has had in his world.
Listen to the full interview here.
Smith talked about his team leadership and how players are working on their own to get better while also practicing social distancing. Smith also talked about OSU’s increased investment in football, a visit he made to the grocery store over the weekend, and the “one that got away” last season -- the road loss at Washington State.
It was a great, candid interview with a coach who has a lot of Beavers fans excited about the future of the program.
