No. 2 Michigan and No. 13 Iowa square off in Lucas Oil Stadium with a lot on the line in the 2021 Big Ten Championship Game. The Wolverines are fresh off an upset over hated rival Ohio State but can't afford to pat themselves on the back too long. The win vaulted Michigan's stock to the point that the Wolverines would not only win their first Big Ten title since 2004 if they beat the Hawkeyes, they would be guaranteed a spot in the College Football Playoff for the first time.
That won't be an easy task, though. Michigan will need to get past a tough Iowa team that enters the weekend having won four straight games, including an improbable comeback against Nebraska to clinch the Big Ten West. While the Hawkeyes are unlikely to reach the playoff, a win would give the program its first Big Ten title since 2004 (when it ironically split the crown with Michigan) and send Iowa to the Rose Bowl against Utah.
We could also see further history made as Michigan running back Hassan Haskins is one touchdown away from tying the program's all-time record for rushing scores in a season (19 -- Ron Johnson, 1968).
