Giants fans will know how New York fared against Dallas by the time they read this. Even with a win, the Giants still need Philadelphia to beat Washington on Sunday Night Football.
If Washington wins, the Football Team takes the playoff spot, period.
If New York loses to Dallas today, Dallas would also need Washington to tie or lose in order for the Cowboys to make it in. It all rides on Sunday Night Football.
The Football Team released quarterback Dwayne Haskins this week in a surprising move. Haskins was the 15th pick overall in the 2019 draft. Washington will now turn to Alex Smith if he can get healthy to play. If he can’t, they’ll have to go with Taylor Heinicke, now in his fourth season as a backup.
In Philadelphia, rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts is expected to start after taking the reins from underperforming incumbent Carson Wentz in Week 14.
