LSU fans are no stranger to how dominant Alabama can be over the most put together of teams, or the dynasty the team created.

But it’s hard to dismiss just how unstoppable the 2019 LSU team was, which went undefeated and topped it all off with a national championship victory over Clemson — another program that has been just about as hard to win against as Alabama has been in recent history.

This year’s Alabama Crimson Tide won it all in supreme fashion, going undefeated in the midst of an unprecedented season and recording a 52-24 win over the Ohio State Buckeyes in the national championship on Monday Night.

So, is last year’s LSU team or this year’s Alabama team the best in the history of college football?

Maybe it comes down to a comparison between Mac Jones and Joe Burrow. Maybe it comes down to the receivers and how their prominence affected the team.

Regardless, there was no shortage of debate on Twitter, though the answer may never truly be settled (we all know what it is, though):
