How will the Bears defense respond to its worst performance in years? Coordinator Sean Desai wasn’t shy about how frustrated he and the defense were with the second half against the 49ers, which included “the worst 11 minutes of football” all year.

This isn’t a good Steelers offense. It ranks 21st in DVOA by Football Outsiders. There are a few things Pittsburgh does well, though, and it lines up with where the Bears defense has struggled. Najee Harris is averaging nearly 100 yards rushing in the past three games, and the Bears’ run defense is at its worst ranking since 2014. The Bears have one interception since Week 2, and the Steelers have only seven turnovers. And Ben Roethlisberger has the quickest time to throw in the league, while the Bears have had zero sacks in their last two games.

If the Steelers lean on those strengths, it could be a long night. Can Akiem Hicks have one of his game-wrecking performances, or can Jaylon Johnson end the Bears' interception drought? Maybe Roquan Smith or Robert Quinn can make an impact play. We could learn a lot about this group and its resilience against a below-average offense.
