Six major college football programs (and counting) made a change at the top heading into the 2021 offseason, and hundreds of jobs have been affected across the country.
Those six major job openings (Arizona, Auburn, Illinois, South Carolina, Texas and Vanderbilt) have been filled, and a long row of dominoes continue to fall across the country as assistant coaches are hired and fired heading into the second major signing period.

Texas Longhorns: Texas is hiring Notre Dame defensive backs coach Terry Joseph, reports Jeff Howe of Horns247.
Maryland Terrapins: Offensive coordinator Scottie Montgomery has been fired, and head coach Mike Locksley's top candidate is Dan Enos, according to Maryland247.
Auburn Tigers:Houston cornerbacks coach Zac Etheridge has been named Auburn's cornerbacks coach and running backs coach Carnell Williams has been retained on the new staff, head coach Bryan Harsin announced Friday. Etheridge spent the previous two seasons in the same capacity at Houston. Etheridge was a team captain on Auburn’s 2010 national championship team.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish: In quite the turn of events, Cincinnati Bearcats defensive coordinator Marcus Freemanhas been hired at Notre Dame, according to 247Sports' Irish Illustrated. Freeman was named 247Sports' defensive coordinator of the year. He interviewed Thursday for the coordinator job at LSU, where Ed Orgeron was hopeful to hire him today.
Boise State Broncos: Oregon defensive coordinator Andy Avalos is expected to be named the head coach of the Boise State Broncos, according to the Idaho Press.
Michigan Wolverines: Jim Harbaugh has signed his five-year extension worth at least $20 million with Michigan, Harbaugh tells 247Sports' The Michigan Insider.

Michigan Wolverines: Baltimore Ravens linebackers coach Mike Macdonald is expected to accept Michigan's defensive coordinator job after the NFL playoffs, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Michigan Wolverines: Michigan is expected to move on and fire Ben McDaniels as its quarterbacks coach, according to 247Sports' The Michigan Insider.
Arkansas State: Keith Heckendorf will remain at Arkansas State as Butch Jones' offensive coordinator. Dalton Hilliard of Tennessee-Martin has also been hired as secondary coach, according to 247Sports' AStateNation.
LSU: LSU is close to nearing a deal to hire Cincinnati Bearcats defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman to replace Bo Pelini, according to Geaux247. Freeman was named 247Sports' defensive coordinator of the year.
Baylor Bears: Baylor is nearing a deal to hire BYU offensive line coach Eric Mateos to the same position. This is Baylor's second try at hiring an offensive line coach during the offseason. Troy offensive line coach Ryan Pugh was originally hired to join offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes' staff, but the Bears halted the deal one day after announcing his hiring.
Penn State Nittany Lions: Penn State Football hired former Texas offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach after firing Kirk Ciarrocca.

South Carolina Gamecocks:Carolina Panthers assistant offensive line coach Marcus Satterfield will be named the new offensive coordinator for the Gamecocks on Friday, according to 247Sports’ The Big Spur.
Michigan Wolverines: Jim Harbaugh is close to agreeing to a new five-year contract with a base salary substantially less than his current deal, however he could earn as much as $8 million each year with incentives, according to the Detroit News.
Florida Gators:Former Auburn defensive backs coach Wesley McGriff is nearing a deal to coach Florida’s defensive backs, according to FootballScoop and Yahoo! Sports.
Vanderbilt Commodores: Vanderbilt coach Clark Lea will hire Wake Forest director of sports performance Brandon Hourigan as strength coach, according to Pete Thamel of Yahoo! Sports.
Kentucky Wildcats: Cincinnati Bengals running backs coach Jemal Singleton has been hired as Kentucky's running backs coach and special teams coordinator.
Texas Longhorns: Bo Davis is expected to be hired as defensive line coach at Texas, according to Chip Brown of Horns247. Davis was most recently the defensive line coach for the Detroit Lions.
Auburn Tigers: Auburn has hired South Carolina offensive coordinator Mike Bobo to the same position on Bryan Harsin’s staff. South Carolina offensive line coach Will Friend will follow Bobo to Auburn, according to Auburn247. Former Vanderbilt coach Derek Mason has signed a letter of agreement to become the Tigers’ defensive coordinator, sources told Auburn247.
